Description

Who wants fish? Meeeeeeee... Too bad in the Philippines, super good tunas are exported, and we are left with the second class. Anyway, for as long as you have the freshest tune fish, try this!

Ingredients

1 lb
tuna (sliced at least 1 inch thick)
2 T
evoo
1 T
sesame seeds (or more if desired)

Seasoned salt to taste (salt mixed with spices – readily available in department stores)

Instructions

Rinse the fish, then using a clean tissue paper, pat dry (but not too dry).

Season the fish with seasoned salt (to taste), and then sprinkle with sesame seeds both sides.

Pour oil on a non-stick pan and heat medium to high. When oil is ready (splatters with a little spritz of water), sear the tuna for 1 to 2 minutes each side. One minute only if you’d like it more raw in the middle.

Voila, serve warm with sauce.   Great as an appetizer or served over steamed rice.
